MRL Elevator
MRL (Machine Room-Less) elevators are a type of vertical transportation system designed to save space by eliminating the need for a traditional machine room at the top of the elevator shaft. Unlike traditional elevators that require a separate machine room to house the machinery and equipment, MRL elevators integrate these components directly into the elevator hoistway or shaft, making them more compact.
MRL elevators can use either traction or hydraulic systems for vertical movement. Traction MRL elevators use ropes and counterweights, while hydraulic MRL elevators use a hydraulic system for lifting and lowering the elevator car.
